- From METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN comes the black version of the fearsome bipedal weapon, Metal Gear Sahelanthropus, now available as a 1:100 scale model kit from Kotobukiya.
- Based on its appearance in Mission 50 "Extreme Sahelanthropus," this EXTREME version features a sleek, easy-to-paint black color scheme perfect for custom builds. True to its in-game functionality, the model faithfully recreates the machine's ability to transform between its REX form and upright bipedal form. Included in the kit are archaea blades, archaea grenades, a dedicated shield, and a base for dynamic display.
- It also comes with four unpainted figures—Venom Snake, Skull Face, Eli, and Third Child—complete with the option to pose Third Child in a levitating stance. Decals are included to replicate the distinctive skull mark on Sahelanthropus' head, though please note that camouflage pattern decals are not part of this release.
